PORRIDGE RADIO WITH LALA LALA GOOD FOR YOU

TMR faves Porridge Radio were arguably hit harder than most by COVID-19 with their phenomenal break-out album Every Bad landing just a week before lockdown. Not ones to wallow in self-pity, the band have been keeping busy in quarantine: painting, writing, performing live streams, giving guitar lessons and drawing attention to worthy causes via their social media platforms. New tune 'Good For You' is another example of time well spent. Written and recorded remotely with Chicago-based musician Lillie West (aka Lala Lala), 'Good For You' proves the collaboration to be a match made in heaven. Lead by songwriter Dana Morgolin's characteristically angsty vocals, atmospheric backing vocals wash over a roomy drum beat, as loose electric guitar strums perpetuate a swaying rhythm, before 'Good For You' picks up momentum and dives head first into the electronic realm of hyper-pop.
